Podcasting – form of distributing digital audio and video files over the Internet, typically for convenient use on a portable media device (PMD) such as an MP3 player. (Pod from iPod + casting from broadcasting)
PDA – Personal Digital Assistant

Dotcom – electronic commerce
Hi-tech – high + technology

Device – (noun) a tool or machine designed to perform a particular task or function
Gadget – a small device that performs or aids a simple task

Spam – an unsolicited often commercial message transmitted through the Internet as a mailing to a large number of recipients
Wi-fi – Wireless Fidelity (rede sem fio)
Tool – an instrument; a device

Texting – writing text via Internet (email, facebooks, IM, blog)
Emoticons – sideways facial expressions made out of punctuation
3G – third generation
Spyware – software that reveals identity of user: software surreptitiously installed on a hard disk without the user’s knowledge that relays encoded information on his or her identity use via an Internet connection
Broadband – technology capable of transferring large amounts of data at high speed
Multitask – to perform more than one task at the same time
